Whimsical Lair

Awwww …. I am so sad. Dad thinks its too much of a hassle to renovate now afterall. Sniffs. Oh well. They wanna move as soon as possible it seems.

My parents and I will be moving soon, still within the same area though. So many things to do once you have taken the keys from the developer, starting with making complaints!

We are pretty upset about the condition of the house … can’t imagine how they built the place. Roofs are leaking, walls are cracking, steel is rusting, drainage is blocked, tiles are uneven, garden is full of hills and holes, pavement has cracked and the list goes on and on and on … Sigh. Will publish some of the pictures we took of the house when I get hold of it … You won’t believe it!

Good news is that dad has decided to go ahead with the renovation, we will be building a patio outside the dining area so we have more space. Interior … I think my parents want to expand their bedroom, complaining about the size. Hmmpphh. Considering my room looks like a rat hole compared to theirs …

Anyway I am rather excited to do up my room, making all sorts of plans. Which of course, I hope, I will ultimately be able to afford. Working so hard, may as well splurge on something I know I will use and get comfortable about it! (i.e. the bedroom). Lighting is a must .. to create the appropriate mood. heh. heh.

I have decided to create a blog here in friendster instead … Its easier as many of my friends are attached to friendster. Makes it easier for everyone to come in to see an update or two from me (I hope). Hopefully I can find the time to blog frequently. Anyway, just penning a word or two first to let everyone know I am gonna start blogging soon!
